Excited to read the linked-to pieces. Wrt the online savaging, which I assume is in response to your (excellent) essay in Liberties--It was wonderful, wonderful. I took it to a bar because beer is a literary digestif, but my beer turned warm, was left redundant by your words. Wonderful, wonderful.
